We've been conditioned to think of women in a certain way; loving, virtuous, and magical creatures.

Women have beautiful aspects, but they also possess depths that can be mysterious and even dark.

These qualities don't make them bad people; rather, they make them real, fun, and spontaneous.

The true dark side of a woman emerges healthily when she feels secure in her relationships.

It's not rooted in fear of relating or being vulnerable, but in embracing aspects of themselves that society may reject.

Most women don't want men to see this side of them.

Keep reading to discover the intriguing complexities of female nature.

The Darker Side of Female Nature - What Girls Don’t Want you to Know

Here are a few things you may never find out about women.

Lets get started!

1. Women are Hypergamous

Women tend to categorize men into two groups: alphas and betas.

Alphas are seen as more dominant, attractive, and sexually appealing, while betas are viewed as more stable, supportive, and financially secure.

During their youth, many women are drawn to alphas, pursuing relationships for excitement and passion.

However, as women age and prioritize stability and security, they may seek out beta males for long-term partnerships or marriage. These beta males are often perceived as more willing to provide and care for them.

In these situations, a woman may settle down with a beta male while secretly fantasizing about the more exciting experiences she had with alphas in her youth.

Despite her commitment to the beta male, she may not fully submit to him, leading to a sense of dissatisfaction for both partners.

The beta male may sense that he is not the woman's first choice but settles for what he can get, believing it to be the best he can achieve.

2. Every Girl Knows What a Guy is Trying to Say; She Just Acts Innocent

Women often have a keen understanding of social cues and body language, allowing them to read between the lines in conversations.

This can lead to them appearing innocent or naive, even when they are fully aware of the underlying message.

This behavior may be a result of societal expectations that discourage women from being too direct or assertive in communication.

By acting innocent, women may also be trying to maintain a sense of mystery or playfulness in their interactions.

3. Girls Fall in Love With the One Who Avoids Them the Most

This behavior can be attributed to the psychological principle of scarcity, where people tend to value things that are less readily available.

When someone avoids them or is hard to get, it can create a sense of challenge and excitement that makes the person more desirable.

This dynamic can be especially pronounced in romantic relationships, where the pursuit of a partner can add an element of thrill and anticipation.

4. Every Girl Enjoys Doing So-Called "Slutty" Things, But no Female Wants to be Perceived as a Slut

Many women may find pleasure in exploring their sexuality and engaging in activities that are considered taboo or unconventional.

However, societal stigma surrounding female sexuality often leads women to conceal these desires and present a more conservative image publicly.

This discrepancy between private desires and public image can create internal conflict and a sense of shame or guilt.

5. Every Girl Acts Like a Child When She's With the one She Loves Most

When women feel deeply connected to someone, they may feel comfortable enough to let down their guard and show their vulnerable, playful side.

This behavior is a sign of trust and intimacy, as they feel safe enough to be themselves completely.

This childlike behavior can also be a way for women to express their affection and create a sense of closeness with their partner.

6. If a Girl Truly Loves a Guy, Then She Will Always Tell Him When Another Boy Tries to Flirt With Her

In a committed relationship, honesty and loyalty are important values.

By informing her partner about flirtatious advances from others, a woman is demonstrating her commitment and trustworthiness.

This openness can strengthen the bond between partners and reinforce the exclusivity of their relationship.

It also shows respect for her partner's feelings and a desire to maintain a healthy, honest relationship.

7. When a Girl Cooks For You, She Cares For You

Cooking for someone is a nurturing and intimate act that requires time, effort, and thoughtfulness.

It shows that the person is important to her and that she wants to take care of them.

This gesture of love and affection can create a sense of closeness and appreciation in the relationship.

Cooking for someone can also be a way for a woman to express her creativity and skill, making it a meaningful and personal gesture.

8. Girls Will Sleep With You If They Like Your Identity

Women are often attracted to certain traits or characteristics in a person, such as confidence, intelligence, or a sense of humor.

These qualities can form the basis of a person's identity and make them more appealing as a partner.

When a woman is attracted to a man's identity, she may be more inclined to engage in a physical relationship with him.

This attraction is not solely based on physical appearance but on deeper, more meaningful aspects of who the person is.

9. Be Careful With the Girl Whose Dad was the First Person Who Broke her Heart

Early experiences, especially those involving caregivers or parental figures, can have a lasting impact on a person's emotional development and relationships.

Women who have been hurt by a father figure may carry emotional scars that influence their behavior and interactions in future relationships.

They may struggle with issues of trust and vulnerability, making it important to approach such situations with understanding and sensitivity.

10. Beautiful Girls are Attracted to Mean Guys

This phenomenon may be rooted in psychological factors such as the allure of mystery or excitement.

Some women may be drawn to "bad boys" or individuals who exhibit traits that are traditionally seen as negative or challenging.

This attraction can stem from a desire for excitement, rebellion against societal norms, or a subconscious belief that they can change the person.

It's important to note that not all women are attracted to "mean guys," and individual preferences can vary greatly.

11. If a Girl Likes You, She Will Constantly Check Your Social Media Profiles

Social media has become a significant aspect of modern dating and relationships, providing a way for people to stay connected and learn more about each other.

If a woman is interested in someone, she may check their social media profiles frequently to get to know them better and stay updated on their life.

This behavior can be a sign of interest and curiosity about the person.

12. Every Girl Desires Male Attention

Attention and validation are basic human desires that can be particularly pronounced in romantic or interpersonal relationships.

Many women appreciate feeling desired and valued by men they are interested in or care about.

This desire for attention can stem from a need for validation, a desire for connection, or a sense of self-worth.

13. Girls Find Boys Twice as Attractive When They See Other Girls Giving Attention to Him

This behavior can be attributed to social proof or the idea that people are more likely to be attracted to someone who is already perceived as attractive or desirable by others.

When women see other women showing interest in a guy, it can make him seem more appealing and desirable, leading to increased attraction.

14. Every Girl Wants to Feel Small

Feeling "small" can be about feeling cherished, protected, and cared for in a relationship.

It's a desire to feel loved and valued by a partner, and to experience a sense of intimacy and closeness.

This desire is not about physical size, but about emotional and relational dynamics that make a woman feel safe and secure in her relationship.

15. Girls Care More About How Confident a Guy is than the Companies he Has Built

Confidence can be an attractive trait in a partner, as it is often associated with self-assuredness, assertiveness, and emotional stability.

While a person's accomplishments and success can be appealing, confidence can play a significant role in initial attraction and relationship dynamics.

A confident person is often seen as more capable of handling challenges and providing emotional support in a relationship.

16. If You Can't Help Her Now, She Doesn't Care If You Helped Before

This statement highlights the importance of being present and supportive in a relationship, particularly during difficult times.

While past actions or assistance may be appreciated, what matters most is being there for the person in the present moment.

This behavior can be a sign of care and concern for the person's well-being and can strengthen the bond between partners.

17. Girls Who Pretend Not to Have Feelings Love the Hardest

Some women may hide or downplay their emotions as a way of protecting themselves from potential hurt or rejection.

However, when they do express their feelings, it can be a sign of deep love and attachment.

This behavior can stem from a fear of vulnerability or a desire to maintain control over their emotions.

18. One Thing Every Girl Hates is When Her Man Talks About Another Girl

Jealousy and insecurity are common emotions in relationships, and many women may feel hurt or threatened when their partners show interest in or talk about other women.

This behavior can be seen as a lack of respect or consideration for the woman's feelings, leading to feelings of jealousy or insecurity.

19. Women Hardly Mature

There is not much of a difference between girls and women, unlike boys and men.

This statement reflects a belief that women do not mature significantly beyond a certain point, unlike men who are seen as undergoing more noticeable maturity and development.

It may stem from stereotypes or misconceptions about gender and maturity, and overlooks the diverse experiences and growth that women undergo throughout their lives.

20. Women Make Their Men Fat to Look Less Attractive to Other Women

This statement suggests a belief that women may sabotage their partner's physical appearance out of insecurity or a desire to prevent them from being attractive to others.

It can also be seen as a form of control or manipulation within the relationship.

21. The Color Red Makes Women More Attractive to Men

The color red has been associated with attraction and desire in psychological studies.

It can evoke feelings of passion, excitement, and arousal, making women who wear red appear more attractive and appealing to men.

22. Girls Try to Make Their Men Suffer by Not Texting Them But are the Ones Suffering the Most

This behavior may stem from a desire to test the strength of the relationship or to gauge the man's level of interest.

However, it can also be a result of personal insecurities or fear of rejection, leading to internal suffering despite outward actions.

23. When Girls Start to Get Overprotective and Jealous, It's not That They Don't Trust You

Jealousy and overprotectiveness can stem from a desire to protect the relationship and maintain a sense of security.

It's not always about a lack of trust, but rather a fear of losing someone they care about.

This behavior can be a sign of deep attachment and concern for the relationship's well-being.

The Truth is, You Don’t Need Closure

Cut ties and move on without glancing back… Image via Unsplash What did I do? What did I say? What could I have done differently? Is there someone else? Can we still be friends? Can we fix this? We torture ourselves with questions when a relationship ends. We want to know the answers. We want to know why. We want to make sense of what we don’t understand. Yes, closure can help. It can bridge the gap between confusion and heartbreak. It guides us to accept the loss and find the strength to look ahead. With closure, we realize there is no turning back. There are no what-ifs. No second chance. The other person has made up their mind for the reason of x, y, and z. As much as it hurts, closure can help us turn the page and start a new chapter.
